
PEBSAL has made a major breakthrough to the expanding Power Sector in Bangladesh. It has secured the supply, fabrication and erection of the 400 MW Power Plant at Sirajgunj from a new Client, Sinamm Engineering Limited. An agreement was signed on 17 July 2017 at the Head Office of Sinamm Engineering Ltd at Dhanmondi, Dhaka. The agreement was signed by Engr. Matiur Rahman, Chairman, Sinamm Engineering Ltd and Engr. Newaz Khan, Chairman, PEBSAL on behalf of their respective organizations.
Others present in the signing ceremony were Engr. A.N.M. Irshad, Director of Sinamm Engineering Ltd, Syed Ali Jowher Rizvi, Managing Director, PEBSAL, Engr. Parvez Mahmood, GM M&S Dept, PEBSAL and Engr. Mounjur Ahammed, Manager (Sales), PEBSAL.
This huge Power Plant is a Dual Fuel Fired Power Generation Facility and will have 413.792 MW (Gas) / 333.02 MW (Fuel Oil) Net capacity. The project will be executed in 4 phases and will consist of Built-up and Hot Rolled sections leading to a total weight of around 3200MT.
