The No 1 Brand in the World, Coca Cola has awarded its maiden project in Bangladesh to PEBSAL. International Beverages Private Ltd, a subsidiary of Coca Cola, has engaged PEB Steel Alliance Ltd for the complete design, supply and erection of the steel building of their plant. The agreement was signed on 03 March 2015, wherein Mr. Tapas Kumar Mondal, Managing Director, International Beverages Private Ltd and Engr. Newaz Khan, CEO/Chairman, PEBSAL signed on behalf of their respective companies.
Consequent to the signing of the agreement a 5 member team from PEBSAL with 3 representative from Design Dept and 2 members Project Implementation Dept including the Head of the Dept visited the Coca Cola facility in India from 03 to 13 Mar 15. The visit was aimed at providing an in depth idea about the existing facility of Coca Cola in India, so as to enable PEBSAL to have a clear understanding of the requirement of its valued client and thus be able to implement the project in the best possible way.
The Factory will be located at Habirbari, Bhaluka in Mymensingh. Covering an area of 260,000 sq ft the factory will be built with over 3,660 MT of steel. The steel fabrication and erection of this mammoth project is scheduled to be completed by mid September 2015.
